Antique chromo lithograph of the Blueberry and Bearberry, 1914

This beautiful plate originates from the German book "Kräuterbuch. Unsere Heilpflanzen in Wort und Bild" from 1914 that used to be part of the library collection of an old convent in the Netherlands. The book, printed in old German, contains practical information about medicinal botanical herbs and plants.

This fine 108 year old plate is in excellent condition and has 6 illustrations of the Marsh labrador tea (Ledum palustre L.), Blueberry (Vaccinium myrtillus L.), Lingonberry (Vaccinmum vitis Idaea L.) and Bearberry or Kinnikinnick (Arctostaphylos officinalis Wimmer u. Grabowski.).

The print comes with a pre-cut high quality matboard with a light sage green coloured top layer. The matboard is acid-free, protecting the print.
