This fascinating chromolithographic plate is completely filled with colourful detailed illustrations of the cavalry from various regions and countries. The plate originates from an antique French encyclopedia called 'Larousse Universel en 2 Volumes' from 1922.
This 100-year old plate comes with a pre-cut high quality matboard with a steel blue coloured top layer. The matboard is acid-free, protecting the print.
