Antique chromo lithograph of the sky and stars, 1922

This interesting chromolithographic plate shows the stellar systems of the Northern and Southern hemisphere, the relative size of the stars and relative distance of the planets of our solar system to the sun. The plate originates from an antique French encyclopedia called 'Larousse Universel en 2 Volumes' from 1922. 

This 100-year-old plate comes with a pre-cut high quality matboard with a steel blue coloured top layer. The matboard is acid-free, protecting the print.
