Antique print of historical airships, 1922

This fascinating plate, based on a steel engraving, is completely filled with detailed illustrations of historical hot air balloons and zeppelins from 1783 until 1919. The print originates from an antique French encyclopedia called 'Larousse Universel en 2 Volumes' from 1922. 

This 100-year-old plate comes with a pre-cut high quality matboard with a steel blue coloured top layer. The matboard is acid-free, protecting the print.
